Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Silver Skills collects, what it does not collect, and how to request deletion.

What we collect
Account information
When you sign in, we store your email address if your sign-in provider shares one with us, a random user ID, and which sign-in provider you used, such as email, Google, or Facebook.
We do not store a password. You can use Google or Facebook sign-in, or email sign-in with a one-time code.
Learning activity
When you complete a practice scenario, we store the scenario ID, your answer, whether you skipped, whether you used a hint, how long you took, and the date and time.
We use this to show your progress, choose future practice, and improve the teaching content.
Accessibility preferences
We may store settings such as text size, read-aloud speed, and high-contrast mode so the app remembers your choices across devices.
Crash reports
If you opt in, crash reports are sent through Sentry so we can fix bugs. Reports may include the stack trace, app version, device model, and iOS version. They do not include your email, name, or anything you typed.
Usage analytics
If you opt in, anonymized usage events are sent through PostHog. Events include things like a scenario starting or completing. Analytics are off by default and can be changed in the app.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, or browsing history.
- We do not read your real text messages, emails, phone calls, or voicemails.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not sell your data.
Where data lives
- Account and learning activity: Supabase, hosted in US data centers.
- Crash reports, if enabled: Sentry.
- Usage analytics, if enabled: PostHog.
How long we keep data
- Learning activity: as long as your account exists.
- Crash reports: up to 90 days.
- Analytics events, if enabled: up to 12 months.
How to delete your account
Email support@silverskills.app from the email address tied to your account, or follow the steps on Delete account. We will confirm your identity and delete account data within 30 days.
Children
Silver Skills is designed for adults and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page. If the app needs new consent, we will ask in the app before continuing.
